Information
Early Voting By Mail
Any registered voter who meets one or more of the following requirements may
request a ballot by mail.
- 65 years of age or older
- physical disability which prevents them from entering a polling place
- confinement in jail without a final felony conviction
- out of the county during the period of early voting in person (ballot must
be mailed to an address outside Victoria County)

Applications will be accepted until 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 29, 2002.
- Send an e-mail with your name and mailing address requesting an
application to: elections@victoriacountytx.org
- Contact the Elections Office at 576-0124 and request an Application to
Vote by Mail be sent to your address.
Any registered voter of Victoria County who is temporarily living outside the
county my request a ballot by mail.
Early Voting In Person
All registered voters are eligible to vote at any time during the period of
Early Voting In Person. The first day for Early Voting In Person is Saturday,
October 19, 2002. The last day for Early Voting In Person is Friday, November 1,
2002.
The Main Early Voting Site for the General Election is the Elections Office
located at 111 N. Glass in downtown Victoria. Just two blocks from DeLeon Plaza,
located at the corner of Glass and Forest Streets, next to the Sheriff's Department.
The
office will be open on weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. beginning Monday,
October 21, 2002 through Friday, November 1, 2002 and additionally on:
- Saturday, October 19, 2002, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.,

Sunday, October 20, 2002 from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Saturday, October 26, 2002, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.,
- Sunday, October 27, 2002 from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Thursday, October 31, 2002, from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and
- Friday, November 1, 2002, from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
