Trustees from Places 1, 2, and 3 are up for election in 2003. Those elected will serve a three year term.
Current representatives of the places are:
Place 1 - David HoffmanPlace 2 - Jimmy W. Johnson
Place 3 - Elroy Alex, Jr.
Trustee, Place 7 will also be on the ballot for the unexpired term of James E. Hilscher. Mr. Hilscher resigned his position in December, 2002. Place 7 will also be on the ballot in 2005 as a Special Election. The filing deadline for the special election will be April 2, 2003.
Filing for a place on the ballot is made at the Superintendent's Office. Filing for Places 1, 2 & 3 begins February 17, 2003 and continues through March 19, 2003. Information on running for a school trustee's position may be found at the Superintendent's Office.
You must be a resident of the school district to apply for a place on the ballot.
