The Victoria Independent School District Board of Trustees will hold an election for Trustees of Single Member Districts 1, 6 and 7. The election this year is being held on the third Saturday of May. This is a one time change to accommodate a later primary in 2004. The election will change back to the first Saturday in May in 2005.
The current officeholder of Single Member Trustee, District 1 is Loleat Ross. The voting precincts are: 1, 2, 3, 8, 34 and 35.
The current officeholder of Single Member Trustee, District 6 is Bernie Klimist. The voting precincts are: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5,6, 7, 8 17, 19, 32, 34, and 35.
The current officeholder of Single Member Trustee, District 7 is Ray Walden. The voting precincts are: 9, 10, 11, 18, 20, 21, 25, 26, 28, 29, 30, 31 and 33. In addition portions of voting precincts; 12, 14, 15, 16, 22, 23, 24, and 27 are each shared with another school district.
Filing ended March 15, 2004 at 5:00 p.m.
