The 2005 General Election for Victoria Independent School District Trustees will include electing trustees for Single Member Districts 3 & 5.
Filing for the positions will begin on February 7, 2005 at the Administrative Offices of the district. The last day for filing an application for a place on the ballot will be March 7, 2005. You must be a resident of the district to file.
Single Member District No. 3 contains election precincts 15, 16, 18, 21, 22, 23, 24 and 31 within Victoria ISD boundaries. Only one person filed for this position,

On March 24, 2005 the board of trustees declared Mr. Svetlik elected to the position of Single Member District No. 3 and cancelled the election for that position.

Early Voting by Mail applications may be received beginning Tuesday, March 8, 2005. Applications must indicate the date and type of election ballot requested. The last day for the early voting clerk to receive an application for a ballot by mail delivered in person is Tuesday, April 19, 2005. Early Voting in Person will begin on Wednesday, April 20, 2005 at the Victoria County Elections Office. The office will be open from 8:00 am. until 5:00 pm, weekdays until Tuesday, May 3, 2005.
Election Day is Saturday, May 7, 2005. The following polling locations will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. to vote for Trustee, Single Member District No. 5.

Precinct 19 - Smith Elementary School
