With rain having steadily fallen throughout Victoria County over the last two days, our local drought index has dropped by approximately 200 points. Effective this morning, County Judge Ben Zeller has lifted both Victoria County’s burn ban and the county’s disaster declaration which previously prohibited the sale and use of fireworks in the unincorporated parts of the county.
