VCPHD Charity Care Program – Effective July 1, 2026

The Victoria County Public Health Department (VCPHD) is committed to ensuring that cost is not a barrier to receiving essential public health services. Beginning July 1, 2026, VCPHD will offer a Charity Care Program to help eligible individuals and families access medically necessary public health services at no cost or at a reduced cost.

Financial assistance may be available for Texas residents who are uninsured, underinsured, or experiencing financial hardship and whose household income is at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level, or who qualify through certain presumptive eligibility programs.

Services covered under the Charity Care Program include:

  • Immunizations
  • Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) testing and treatment services
  • Tuberculosis (TB) services
  • Disease prevention and chronic disease management services

VCPHD believes everyone deserves access to preventive health services that protect individual and community health. Individuals who may qualify are encouraged to apply.

Applications will be available beginning July 1, 2026:

  • Online at www.vcphd.org
  • In person at the Victoria County Public Health Department
  • By mail upon request

For more information or assistance with the application process, please contact VCPHD at 361-578-6281 or visit our office at 2805 N. Navarro Street, Victoria, TX 77901.

No one will be denied services solely because of an inability to pay.
